82-0 Game FAQ: Short Answers for a Real Draft
Check the name, label or result that is puzzling you. These answers clear up common distinctions and point to the detailed article when a short explanation is not enough.
Name and season notation
Are “82 -0 game” and “82 - 0 game” separate games?
Those spaced forms refer to 82-0 here. They do not select a different NBA mode. Use the game’s Classic or HoopIQ choice for the information style; use the sports navigator when you mean a football, hockey, soccer or baseball challenge.
Does 82-0 mean an eighty-two-point winning score?
The name describes eighty-two wins and zero losses across a season. It is not the points scored in a single basketball match. A completed record such as 81–1 uses the same wins–losses notation; Close Results examines those imperfect finishes.
Starting and reading the five jobs
Can I begin the NBA draft as a guest?
Yes. The game can start a draft without a registered account and identifies guest play in its interface. Read any in-game sign-in or saving prompt for account features. Guest entry does not establish that an active attempt will transfer to another device or survive clearing browser data.
What do PG, SG, SF, PF and C stand for?
They name the five roster jobs: point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward and center. Use the placement offered for the selected card to determine where your current choice can go. Knowing the abbreviation alone does not make every candidate usable in every vacancy.
| Label | Basketball position |
|---|---|
| PG | Point guard |
| SG | Shooting guard |
| SF | Small forward |
| PF | Power forward |
| C | Center |
The card’s context comes with the name
Is a player entry a summary of that player’s whole career?
Read the franchise, period and statistical basis attached to the entry. The supplied version can differ from the career peak you remember. Decade Averages explains that basis; the player profiles help inspect a contribution rather than replace the card with a reputation.
Why can I recognize a player but not see the usual stat numbers?
Check the mode you chose. Classic supplies visible statistics for comparing entries, while HoopIQ hides that information and asks you to judge from your knowledge. That difference is intentional. For a detailed comparison, read Classic or HoopIQ.

What does a projected season result represent?
It is the game’s returned season record for that selected lineup. It is not a prediction for a real NBA franchise, and the displayed stat difference between two cards does not reveal an exact number of extra wins. Season Projection explains what can be read from the finish.
Does the homepage win/loss slider change my draft?
No. The guide’s record reader demonstrates how wins and losses divide an eighty-two-game total. It does not submit picks or alter the game window. Use the result displayed inside the actual game when describing your attempt, not a slider setting you chose beside it.
Choose your mode in the game; use the board reference when its next action needs a closer look.
