One suitable position type
Selecting the card can place it immediately. The two defense slots fill in sequence. Read the updated six-slot lineup before continuing, especially when the selection completed one of the D jobs.
Five skaters, one goalie and a choice of statistical basis. Read average and best-season cards in their own units, follow the actual placement flow, and inspect the completed hockey season.
The hockey 82-0 game fills five skater slots and one goalie slot. Those two groups use different statistical fields. Choose the basis first, then read the offer in the units actually printed on its cards.

| Basis | Card line | Read it as |
|---|---|---|
| Decade Avg | G/gm · A/gm · PTS/gm | Projected per-game output across the franchise-and-decade sample |
| Best Season | G · A · season | The supplied goal and assist totals for the selected single season |
Decade Avg uses a broader, games-weighted sample. Best Season highlights a supplied season's goals and assists. A larger-looking G number in the second setting is not directly comparable with a G/gm decimal in the first.
The published best-season choice for skaters uses the highest 3 × goals + 2 × assists within the franchise and decade. That selects a season; it is not a replacement for the entire team simulation. If best-season data is missing, a card can fall back to the average line. Read the labels rather than assuming every row changed units.

A position chooser opens instead. Choose from the usable types offered by that card. This is the moment to consider which opening you spend and which job remains for the next draw.
The solo game starts the season simulation after the sixth placement. The last card therefore leads into the finished record automatically.
Each is available once per run. If a remaining goalie job makes the current offer awkward, decide which condition you want to preserve before using either control. Check the newly supplied candidates instead of assuming a particular keeper must appear.
The simulator includes randomness across the eighty-two-game season. Preserve the six selected entries, chosen basis and returned wins/losses pair together. The same lineup on a new attempt does not promise the same finish.
This is the NHL 82-0 game, with hockey-specific fields and placement rules. The sports route guide helps if you meant the basketball version; that game uses a separate board and result system.

Return to the five-jersey NBA version when you want basketball; keep hockey units with this six-slot draft.
